They were behind on food, but waiter was awesome in communicating and food was delicious.

Wonderful food! Great atmosphere in the mountains! Met the owner and he's a great guy and we support him and his restaurant.

The wings I had were great and I enjoyed. The atmosphere is friendly in the bar area however our service was iffy due to long periods of time of not seeing our waitress and needing to order more food and drinks. We saw her in the front conversing which would have been fine if we could have waived her down but due to her being in another part of the restaurant we had to go look for her.

I was on vacation a few weeks ago in new Mexico. At first I was hesitant to try this place because everyone says there's not many good options in new Mexico. Well let me tell you this place is really something special. The burgers are big, juicy and just down right delicious. The beers is so cold it has ice at the top. The fried pickles were some of the best I've had. They were crispy but not alot of batter and the pickles were delicious. My burger was a monster of flavor with avocado, grilled jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and bacon. Need I say more..if that's not enough to make your mouth water then take a look at the pictures. Pictures are worth more then words but if I've learned anything is that a great experience is far less said then a bad. So give it a try... you won't be disappointed.

Friendly service, always busy but that’s a good sign! The fried pickles are super and the burgers fantastic. Loved getting to try local beers as well and when we told the waitress we were going to split our burger, they brought it out already cut up! It was a little chilly for outdoor sitting but they have a nice patio space. Will definitely go back.

Service is always excellent! Rooms are beautiful and there's fancy soaps. It's our favorite place to stay in Ruidoso. Highly recommend!!!

Our first restaurant on our first day in Ruidoso. The menu has a great well rounded selection that hit the spot. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

The food was great, I recommend the buffalo wings, they're super delicious. The waitress was absolutely pleasant and great. Our food was ready in just a few minutes there was no unreasonable wait for it. The feel of the place was awesome, there's a live band singing great hits in the back. I will definitely go back again!

Have to sit outside, under the tent, for now, due to New Mexico's dictator governor. They did mess up my order, a little but when my burger and the rest of the food arrived, all was forgiven. Very good. The staff was nice too. Yumm.

Terrible service, forced to move during our meal due to seating without shade. 45 minute wait for a side order of fries. Don't waste your time here, go somewhere that values customers. This place is an insult to the fine town it claims to serve.

The Billy the Kid burger was excellent. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be going back!

Cute place but unimpressive food. Fried okra was underdone and inedible and the burger was better on paper that in execution. I won't be back to this dud.

The fried green chilies are amazing! Pretty good burger place and Ruidoso. They have a huge selection of burgers with different toppings sauces such as green chilies or blue cheese. The green chilies on the burgers were pretty skimpy. We had to ask for additional green chilies and they brought out in a cup.The place is pretty big and has two separate areas. There's a bar where you can sit and order some drinks and watch some games. The staff is pretty friendly and attentive. If you ordered the french fries they come in huge baskets.

Pretty cool atmosphere and good service. The mozzarella sticks are homemade and were great. My wife had the fish and chips and she said it was ok. The rest of our party had burgers and sandwiches which were pretty average. Not over the top but not bad.

Good food, good service, we are spending a week in Ruidoso and have already ate there 3 times.

We don't make it to Ruidoso very often, but when we do, it's Anaheim Jacks. Staff is always friendly and quick. My family goes specifically for the FRIED PICKLES. I prefer the burgers. Made to order and amazing. This time I got The Dirty Dave and loaded fries.

This place is burger heaven! It's close to a tourist attraction so it tends to be packed on weekends but the wait is so worth it. After being seated our service was quick and we didn't wait long for our food despite the place being full. Everything was delicious! You have to absolutely eat here.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Excellent food and service. I will be back time and time again. P.s. The Billy The Kid Burger 🍔 ROCKS!!! 🤗😋😍🤩

Their selection of burgers is crazy! The Doc Holiday burger comes with marinara and fried mozzarella! They also have a pretty cool, though small, bar area.

After a long day of hiking, this place hit the spot! Not skimping on portions and a very reasonable price. BEST WINGS IN TOWN!

Didn't feel very welcomed, seemed like we were bothering the staff. Didn't even get a smile or thank you on the way out. Food was a bit greasy. Will not be returning.

I am visiting from out of town and the other day we decided to stop here for lunch. Our waitress was Bobi and she was very friendly and helpful not only with our meals but when we asked about interesting places to visit. The food was also great and bigger than we were expecting.

Great appetizers! Great service! Great food! Will be go to anytime we are visiting ruidoso!! Might come back just to visit this restaurant again! We had a party of 11 and our bill was 140, with 3 appetizers and 11 entrees.

Everything we ordered was amazing. To bad it was during the covid shutdown. Cause a beer or two along with the meal would have been just what the Doctor ordered.

This restaurant is AMAZING! We stopped her on a cross country trip to eat. The food was good. The staff was awesome!!! My phone had fallen out of my bag. I figured it was at the table. I called, after hours, and asked. Management not only went out of their way to thoroughly search for my phone, they got it to me, by mail, ASAP, on their own dime!!! My phone arrived the next day, in perfect condition. They even powered it off, to maintain the battery! Such an amazing place. Ran by the best!Oh... And the food is OUTSTANDING!!! Great spot for a burger and beer!

Great local restaurant with an all-around great menu. If you get anything meal hush puppies, get a side order of hush puppies. Some of the best I've ever had and I am a native Alabamian.

Finished a round of golf and ask someone at the course a good place for a burger. They told me about this place. I wasn't disappointed. Inside/outside seating. Friendly staff. Lots to chose from on the menu. I chose the Doc Holiday burger. Bacon, onion strings, fried mozzarella and marinara. Wow, it was loaded. Not disappointed after first bite. Fries were average. This tourist found a great place for a burger, definitely recommend.

Great food does things right help them take a stand

First restaurant I have eaten at (outdoor seating) since the lockdown. It was worth the wait! Burgers are delicious, perfectly flavored and cooked.

I called 10 minutes prior to ordering to go and the gentleman told me they were not that busy and it would only take around 10 minutes to cook our order. I then called to place my order 10 minutes later and the lady told me all of a sudden 30 minutes until my order was ready. First off it wasn’t very busy... I showed up pretty early and waited the 25-30 minutes and opened my box of food. The fries were absolutely soggy, they needed to be cooked longer. The burgers are consistently pretty good. I was just disgusted at the fact they served me these soggy fries. I work in food and if I saw my cook serve that I wouldn’t let it go out. Also I didn’t feel very welcomed when I walked in. Everyone was staring and a bunch of young girls were just talking instead of focusing on customer service.

It was great, quick and good service as well as excellent food.

Got takeout burger and chicken sandwich. Service was good. Sweet potato fries were good.

Great burger! Lots of options but I usually stick to green chile cheese burger. Nice size portions. The wait staff and manager were super nice. We'll be back.

Started of great .. till we moved to the bar .. bar tender with filers hair was super inviting n sweet . Till the bar tender with bun took over m was super rude n ignored our end . Was I addressed her with a thank you she ignore me with out saying anting back ( customer service ) I did this in my past job .. moving forward she attend to everyone else but us till we had to ask!! Not good service bummed coming from outta town!! A shame cus its all based on tips n coming back n referring people..

Wish I could give them more stars! Party of 6, we all had a different burger and they were all fantastic. The service was excellent.

The service was very good, especially for as busy as they were when we went. We were all impressed with the food we ordered (two different burgers and fish and chips) and with the portion size. Therer were only ancouple things we were disappointed with. First, the burgers were ~12 dollars with NO fries...which was a bit high to me. The second thing is they brag about their large draft beer selection....but they had no beer menu! That was a bit disappointing.

Good food and friendly service. I support small business and their right to be open if big box stores are allowed to be open.

Taste wise... this place was 5 stars.We got portobello burgers & black bean burgers. They were big, hot, fresh, packed full of flavor.BUT... the burgers don't come with a side. You have to pay extra for fries. There was only 1 other table with customers yet our food took a long time & 1 order was incorrect. 1 of us got food poisoning that hit when we got home (maybe the blue cheese or guac). Because of that we had to rate lower. Great potential in this place otherwise.

LOCALS take back seat when the "zoo comes to town". This afternoon I arrived ordered my drink and appetizer. Later table beside me was seated 2 adults 3 toddlers. They ordered drinks and an appetizer. I ordered my single burger. Their food and second beverage for 5 came first. My food came plated even though it was to go. I asked my server twice and the hostess for an extra lime but had already finished my drink before it arrived. I saw another LOCAL COUPLE leave without being served. JUST REMEMBER LOCALS ARE REGULAR PATRONS. You decide how we should be treated or ignored! This afternoon may be my last trip to Anaheim Jack's!!!
